My prayers are with all of you. May memories of your Dad (and Mom) comfort you during this time and in times to come. I always loved your Dad and his cute smile! I will never forget that he got me in to gardening, tilling just about the whole yard at my apartment on Livingston Avenue. It was the best garden I ever had and he was so proud of it:)

I have nothing but the warmest of memories of John and Wilma from my wonderful days at St. Thomas and all that they did there. I remember them coming in on Monday mornings and counting the collection and of course all the work that John did with Dave Steger with the St. Vincent de Paul Society and so much more. They are all together in heaven now with so many more. I think of the verse from Matt. 25 and all the people that your father fed through the food pantry all those years. "When did I see you hungry?...Now enter into the joy of my Father." On a personal note - your father always offered the loving support of a father to me. I will never forget him.

I am sad for the loss of your father. May you be comforted by the memories of his fully lived life. I will always fondly remember visiting my Uncle John & Aunt Wilma and my cousins. Know that your father and mother created a very welcoming environment in their home. I always enjoyed the family gatherings with all of our aunts and uncles and the great meals we had. Many times we came home with a bounty of fresh picked black raspberries, strawberries, and apples due to your father's generosity. Love to you and your families.
