Dear Carters,
Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I always enjoyed conversations with Robert, finding his wit and intelligence inspiring. My mind is boggled at the losses you have experienced recently, but his presence must have been needed at another party. I hope that smiles and laughter will soon come before tears when you remember him, because I think he would want that.
Dine on(he was such a "foodie"!) and shine on Robert; you will be missed.

I was very saddened to hear about Bobby's passing. We first met when I worked at the Telegraph-Forum as reporter/assistant editor and hired him and a friend to work the County Fair one summer. Bobby was about 16-17 and was this skinny and a bit nerdy kid; so full of life; funny and smart. And he had a talent for writing, and did very well covering events that summer. Again, I'm so very sorry for your loss.
