Our deepest condolences on your loss. Our earliest memories of the Ciotola family go back to the early days of the Monte Carlo restaurant. Our family, including my mother and brother, enjoyed many meals under the wonderful hospitality of Bruno, Evelina, Fran, Lora, and Joe.
Again our deepest condolences and best wishes.

I read Bruno's obit this morning. Of course, I was surprised and saddened by his passing. I count my blessings to have known him and all of you. What a legacy he has left you. My deceased husband, Joe, and I always enjoyed seeing him and his family at the old and new Monte Carlo. Joe and Lara even opened the restaurant so I could host about 90 people after Joe's funeral. And I was and am so appreciative. I miss you all. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as you deal with this and always. Most sincerely, Pat (Salyer)

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Bruno. I remember him well from welcoming us to the restaurant when I moved to Columbus. I started going with my inlaws the Bartons. With his welcoming smile and Italian accent, I knew this was the place to have our wedding reception.

Le nostre pi sentite simpatie per la famiglia. Possa Dio confortarti e consolarti in questo momento difficile. Riposare in pace

Our deepest condolences to all the family. Bruno will be remembered in our prayers. I have very found childhood memories of your family, and would enjoy time spent with you all whenever we visited. May he rest with all the angels that we have all lost. Rest in peace and hugs to all the family. Would have come to the service but we unfortunately we cannot cross the border.

Holding you in my prayers. Bruno was a very special person. Back in the mid-1970s, Bruno's was the Otterbein College hangout for me, Dave, Don, and Bob - every Friday night! We formed a special bond with Bruno and the family - all memories we hold dear. Bless you and may the many memories of Bruno sustain you in your sorrow.

I was sorry to read about the passing of your Father. One of his beautiful legacies was you Fran. Always so cheerful saying hola to everyone in the halls at the Norwalk Middle Schools. Also what fun it was when you painted each nail a different color to help the students learn the Spanish words for colors. How proud you must be of your son. I remember how you brought him each morning to St. Paul’s for classes. Continue honoring your Father by carrying on his legacy. Reta

Leaving the little town of Cerreto after the disaster of WWII, you came to Columbus after a brief stay in Toronto. Through ingenuity, common sense, and hard work, while in Columbus you built a successful business, showing all of us what the American dream is all about. Devoted husband, admirable father, affectionate relative, you will be dearly missed.
