Obituary
Viola Giovanello, age 86, passed away on Sunday January 16, 2011 at Emerald Crossings. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Viola was caring, loving and compassionate. She gave of herself to family, friends and even strangers. Viola was a member of the Piave Club, Twig, Cancer Ray and also volunteered at Mount Carmel Hospital. She is eternally loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Viola is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph & Maude Santilli, loving husband of 64 years William and brothers Ralph and Leo. She is survived by her children; Susan (Gregg) Ledford, Sally (Rob) Hodgson and Bill (Andrea), grandchildren; Jennifer (Sean) Russell, Michael (Taree) Ledford, Brent (Courtney) Hodgson, Tracy and Caroline Hodgson and Natalie Giovanello, great grandson, William Russell, sisters-in-law Josephine and Anita Santilli and many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to thank all the staff at Emerald Crossings and Senior Independence Hospice. Friends may call FRIDAY January 21, 2011 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on SATURDAY January 22 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Michael B. Watson, Presider. FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET AT CHURCH. Private family entombment will follow at the Union Cemetery. Friends who wish, may contribute in memory of Viola, to the Senior Independence Hospice, 6555 Busch Boulevard, Columbus, Ohio 43229.
