Joann and Family:

I am sadden to hear about Vince's passing. The limited times I came to visit, I could tell he was suffering. Now he is at rest. Our age difference prevented us from being close in our younger days. It was only as we grew older did I come to appreciate all that he did to promote and honor our Italian heritage.

Eric, my son, continues to make wine. He was taught by the best. Even though Eric was taught by the best, his wine could not compare to Vince's.

From an outsider looking in, I could tell how loving his entire family was. Death of a love one never comes easy and I am truly sorry for your lost.

All of your family are in my prayers. I want everyone to know, if you need anything, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me.

God Bless...

Dear JoAnn and family,

We placed a condolence in the Columbus Dispatch condolences section when Vince's obituary was published. But thought we'd place one here on John Quint's online condolence website too, just to make sure you know we are thinking of you and praying for you. We know you are feeling a tremendous void in your heart now. But perhaps the void and sadness can be tempered with the thought that he no longer has to suffer. He did so for such a long time. He'll be sure to save a spot in heaven for you since you took care of him so well and long. I hope you get around to reading this condolence with all the legal and life re-arrangements necessary when a family member passes away. We remember you as a very strong person, JoAnn. Now is the time to call upon all that strength to get you through your grieving. The picture of Vince in this online condolence website really shows his jovial personality and his handsomeness. Love, Terry and Norma Tolbert
