Obituary

Vincent L. DeStefano, age 88, passed away peacefully Friday, June 23, 2006 at Feridean Commons Senior Housing. He served in the U. S. Army in WW II and was retired from Sanese Services. A member of St. Timothy Parish., he was also a member of Riviera Golf Club, the American Italian Golf Association and VFW Post 3426. Preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, the love of his life; and by his parents, Ercole and Angelica DeStefano; brothers, Florio, Norman, Richard and John DiStefano; sisters, Leida Frank, Mary Coyle and Gloria Bianchetti. Survived by sisters-in-law, Norma DeStefano and Grace DiStefano; special nieces, Diana (Pat) O’Reilly and Susan (Charles) Cantrell and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Friends may call Thursday, June 29, 2006 at JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue Columbus Ohio 43212 from 3:00-8:00 PM followed by a Prayer Service at 8:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial, will be on 10:30 AM FRIDAY, June 30, 2006 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 1088 Thomas Lane, Rev. Fr. Charles Cotton, Celebrant. PROCESSION WILL FORM AT CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish, may contribute in memory of Vince to St. Timothy Catholic Church or a charity of their choice. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com.
