I was very saddened to hear of the passing of our beloved teacher, Sister Anna Veronica. Sister Veronica was my chemistry teacher at Parkersburg Catholic High School where I graduated with the class of '55. She was a wonderful person whom I greatly admired. May she rest in peace.

I feel so saddened to hear of the passing of Sister Anna Veronica. I was fortunate to have her for science, math, music and choir, and home room teacher at St. Francis Xavier Catholic school. Then again my senior year at Parkersburg Catholic High 1960. Not only was she my favorite teacher, but a very dear friend, whom I've kept in contact with over the years. I surely will miss her, and her wonderful smile. May she be at peace, as well deserved. Ann Richards

I had the pleasure of having Sr. Anna Veronica as a teacher and I worked as her assistant with attendance and other duties to help her out. She was the first teacher that treated me as an individual and quite frankly as an adult vs. a kid or another Coyne kid. I appreciated her so much and feel like she helped me find my confidence and my strengths. Thank YOu Sr.

So sorry to hear about the loss of dear Sister Anna Veronica. I was a student at St. Xavier in Parkersburg when she was there. I have been gone from the area for some time now, but have thought of her often. She was a dear person.

I rejoiced this summer when I read the anniversary of Sister's service in The Catholic Spirit, and I shared it with all of my non-Catholic family who knew Sister AV. We remember her smile and her kind spirit from so many years ago when my younger brother attended St Francis Xavier school. Our lives are richer for having known her and been able to have her in our lives. RIP Sister AV. May the angels sing you to your rest.

I am sad to hear that Sr. Anna Veronica had passed away. Everytime I sing, I use the breathing exercises she taught me and I smile thinking of her! She will live in the hearts and voices of those many, many students whose lives she touched over her many years of teaching. Enjoy the warmth and love of our Lord Sister!
