Obituary
Simone Cautela Sr.(Sam), age 84, went to be with the Lord Friday, April 28, peacefully surrounded by his family at home. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 18, 1922. Simone was co-owner of Cautela Brothers Construction Company for over 30 years. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to so many. Survived by beloved wife of 62 years, Ida Maria, children Felicia(Royall) Smithey, Dina, Ezio, Simone Jr.(Debbie), Carlo(Tammy) and Annetta(Chris) Damsel; grandchildren Matthew, Renee, Annie, Jennifer, Teresa, Anthony, Lizzie, Amanda, Simone, Dylan, and 5 great-grandchildren; brothers Colombo (Giulia) Cautela, Gino(Italia) and Quintino, sisters Rosa Vitullo,Sestina Carducci, Leontina Presutti, brother-in-law Pat Colatruglio and sister-in-law, Ornalla Cautela and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Sebastiano and Felicia, infant sons Sebastiano and Anthony, sister Elena Colatruglio and brother Ottavio. Friends may call TUESDAY, May 2nd, 2006 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00pm. Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2006 at Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, 9517 North High Street, Lewis Center, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute in memory of Simone to the Home Reach Hospice of Columbus 3724-G Olentangy River Road Columbus, Ohio 43214.
