Aunt Shirley, You will be missed dearly by all of us. The times we spent together were special memories that will never be forgotten. We laughed so hard at times, we thought our faces would stay fixed in that position. We remember how playful you were with your kids and our kids and how you showered them with hugs and kisses and laugher. No doubt, you left a part of you in all of us and we will forever be happy every time we think about you. God bless you and may the Angels look over you and keep you happy in heaven. Love Always from your nephews and nieces.

Shirley was one of my favorite people on this Earth. She was the best babysitter any kid could ask for and so much more. Shirley became a member of our family a long time ago. unfortunately i didnt get to see her as much in th last few years as I would have liked. She was such an amazing person. I was so lucky to have known her and i am so sad she had to leave so soon. My thoughts are with you in this awful time.

We were so sad to hear about your mom. She was one of my favorite people. When we had grandchildren, she became their "grand baby-sitter." She sat for my children when they were young and then our grandkids. We were all lucky to have Shirley as a part of our lives. We will miss her.

Lisa, Brian and Nick,
I was so sad to hear about your Mom. She was the best! I loved sitting at your house and hanging in the living room laughing with her. She was always laughing at us and the stuff we came up with. I enjoyed seeing her at the Saturday yard sales and how she'd say "oh skip this one!" And start laughing! She was a part of growing up in Grandview and for that she will be missed and always remembered.

I am so sorry that Shirley passed away. I met her when I first came to Grandview in 1979. So I had the good fortune to know her for thirty years. She was so friendly, humorous and enthusiastic. Grandview was a better place because Shirley was such a great part of it.

So sorry to hear about Shirley's passing. I feel so fortunate that my son, Sam, was able to have her for a babysitter until he started school and she was like a good friend to the rest of the family. Although we didn't get to see her often since she moved from Grandview, except at the occasional Ox Roast, we will miss her.

I am very sorry to hear about Shirley's death. It was a shock after having just seen her at the 50th reunion and having e-mailed off and on in the spring. She was a wonderful person and the video tribute was very nice. I will miss being able to "chat". Love, Sarah
