I was notified of Sal's passing by friend's in Columbus. I bought my first automobile from Sal in 1958 when he was employed by Dan Royan's Ford (I believe it was called). We remained friend's for several year's. He was alway's so nice and alway's smiling. We enjoyed his friendship. He was loved by family and friend's as I am sure he was by all who knew him. You are all in my prayer's. Please accept my sympathy for your loss.

I have many fond memories of Sal. During our high school days, Sal, Joe Rotundo, Tony DiSabato, myself, and other guys, hung out together at Thompson's Restaurant downtown. He was always fun to be with and I was very sorry to hear of his passing. He was a great guy. I offer my prayers and condolences to the family.

Helen, I was so sorry to hear about Sal. He was always a "champ" in my eyes and heart. He was a great influence in my three "boys" lives, (Marc, Matt and Andy Nelson) He never missed my birthday and Christmas. Occasionally we would talk via the telephone. He dearly loved my Mother and Dad (Bettie and Howard Laing). There were many trips to Florida to play golf (Not Mother, the guys).I just always thought Sal would be there. I will be unable to attend the calling hours nor the service. Please know that I am thinking about you and praying for you. You were deeply loved by Sal. He was the best.
