Obituary

Rudolph Bolognone, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at Whetstone Gardens & Care Center. Retired from GM after 38 years of dedicated service and a loyal member of the UAW Local 969. Rudolph proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War ll. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, VFW and the American Legion. He is preceded in death by parents Antonio & Maria, brothers: John, Dan, Jim and Mike, sisters Sr. Mary Anthony,RSM, Rosella Vogel, Vera Long, niece Linda Cusack-Hennessey and nephews Danny & John Bolognone. Survived by sister Josephine Cusack and sister-in-law, Sue Bolognone. Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 21, 2003 at the John Quint & Sons Funeral Home, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, from 2:00-6:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2003 at the Holy Family Catholic Church, 584 West Board Street,Columbus, Ohio 43215, Rev. Fr. Kevin F. Lutz, Celebrant. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High Street. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute in Rudolph's memory to Holy Family Catholic Church. Rudy's family would like to extend a grateful appreciation to Dr. Lewe and all the staff at Whetstone Gardens & Care Center, especially the staff at Station #2.
