Rudolph "Rudy" Ricci, age 88, died Saturday, August 4, at home surrounded by his loving family. Retired from North American Rockwell International. Veteran of WW II US Army, recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Medal. Member of St. Agatha Catholic Church and life member of the DAV. Preceded in death by son Joseph Ricci; parents Tullio and Mary; brother, Ensign Joseph Ricci; sister, Christina (John) Howe; brother-in-law, Rocco Salimbene and many other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Dorothy Ricci (DiPerna); daughter, Mary (Todd) Faris; daughter-in-law, Susan (Greg) Good; granddaughters, Jody (Mike) Riley; Lisa (Mitch) Holdren; Cara (Brad) Heinlen; great grandchildren, Joey and Amber Riley and Lauren Holdren; sisters, Nelly Salimbene and Rita LaBelle and many nieces, nephews, special friends and neighbors. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to HomeReach Hospice, Comfort Keepers and especially Gary and Tanya. Family will receive friends Wednesday August 8, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, with a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass 11:00 AM Thursday, August 9 at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1860 Northam Road.
