Obituary

Rose Ann Spaith, age 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. Rose was born on August 29, 1939, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Robert and Francis Spaith. Rose is preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Bobby and Tom. She is survived by her nephew, John (Jennifer) Spaith; and her great-nephews, Thomas "Finn" and Ben; and her sister-in-law, Helen Spaith. One of Rose's great loves was poetry, which she read, published, and shared with her friends in various poetry groups. She also had a soft spot for the cats in her life. Rose was a storehouse of family lore, and the many stories she told have kept those memories alive for future generations. Rose was a lifelong Catholic and a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. Her Funeral Mass will be held there on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 10:30 am.
