Cousin Rose was one of my favorite people. I spoke of her often to friends. She was entertaining, lovely and unique and I was always so proud to be with her. Everyone who met Rose always remembered her for years. She was an unforgettable character.
I very fondly remember shopping trips to Lazarus as a kid, even though she made me carry her high-heeled shoes in a bag; I enjoyed her company so much I was happy to do it.
Cousin Rose was a master raconteur, a superb storyteller, and she was very funny. She was an old fashioned lady, with old world standards, and I appreciated that. Having said that, she was also very modern; she was progressive, and forward thinking and always fashionable. She steadfastly remained single all of her life, but made no appologies or excuses, she just made it look like fun.
It seems today that there just aren't enough people around like Rose. I will miss her terribly, but also feel incredibly lucky to have had her in my life.

Louise and Family: I regret I am unable to attend services for Rose due to responsibilities for out of town litigation. However, I send my condolences and recognition of Rose's wonderful life to all of your family. Her personality and sense of humor she shared with Louise made her a joy to be near. Later today, I am sending a donation to St. Catharine School in her memory to be used for library books because I know her love and joy for her family was shared with her caring commitment for her education profession and her church. She will be missed.

Louise and family: I am sorry that I am unable to attend either the viewing or church service for Rose. I taught with Rose for 16 years at Woodcrest and enjoyed working with her immensely. She was well loved by her students and fellow staff and she will be missed by all of us. My prayers to you and the family. Sincerely, Barb Pohl

I was so sorry to see in the paper that Rose had died. You have my deepest sympathy. Rose was my daughter's third grade teacher 30 years ago at Woodcrest. The two of them corresponded every year at Christmas. Ms. Agriesti was a wonderful teacher, substitute, and acquaintance. I last saw her February 28th at MCL and she gave me her phone number. I promised to call her. Everytime I tried, her line was busy. My biggest regret is that I did not get to talk to her again.
You have my prayers in the loss of a wonderful lady. In Christian love, Mary Westinghouse

Rose will be remembered by me as the lovely lady withwhom I taught at Woodcrest School. She extended her kindness to me at the funeral of Mr. Keinner, our principal at the school, when I arrived alone. I also remember her as part of the reunion group who met at the MCL for lunch.

Rose always looked so pretty and waived to me whenever I saw her shopping.

My sympathy to you all.
