Obituary

Roberta M. "Bobbie" Johnson, wonderful mother, loving grandmother, age 83, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2006 at Mount Carmel West Hospital. She graduated from West High School and married her high school sweetheart. She was a member of the National Honor Society. She was a long time member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, the Women of the Moose Lodge and the Merry Eight card club. Bobbie loved to golf, bowl, line dance, sing and celebrate life. She spent her last day reminiscing . . . those were the days . . . She is preceded in death by her first husband, John B. Murnane, her parents, Wilbur and Garnett Roberts, and her brother, Donald and sister, Vivian. She is survived by her devoted husband, William P. Johnson; sons Michael(Jennie)Murnane, William(Ann)Murnane, Mark(Karen)Murnane; daughters, Geraldine Murnane & Sam Maxwell, Colleen(Kenny)Hyme; 14 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call Monday, February 27th, 2006 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 4:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 28th, 2006 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 473 S. Roys Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, Rev. Fr. Stanley Benecki, Celebrant. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio. PROCESSION WILL FORM AT CHURCH. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com.
