Obituary
Robert Norman Heintz, age 68, Sunday, June 15, 2003 at the OSU Medical Center. He was a teacher at the Eastmoor High School for 30 + years. He is preceded in death by parents Joseph and Lena. Survived by loving wife of 47 years Lucille(Ristucci), daughters: Michelle (Tom) Montgomery, Karen (Robert) Holloway, Denise (David) Scurlock, Sheila (Scott) Frasher and Heather (Bill) Hennell, grandchildren: Dustin, Megan, Marianne, Brittany, Lauren, Malorie, Jacob and MaKenna, sisters: Norma, Selma and Joanne, brothers-in-law Dan and Tony Ristucci and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at the John Quint & Sons Funeral Home, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2003 at the St. John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church, 720 Hamlet Street, Rev. Fr. William A. Metzger, Celebrant. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High Street. Condolences may be sent to www.johnquint.com.

Mrs. Heintz, I would like to send my condolences to you and your family on the passing of Mr. Heintz. I remember him as my favorite POD teacher at Eastmoor High School back in 1960/61. He made my Senior year worthwhile. He had a way of making Government class very interesting and I learned more from him than any teacher I can remember. I saw the news of his Altzheimers when he wandered off a couple years ago. I was so sorry he had to experience this disease. He was a wonderful man and I'm sure he is happy now to be relieved of this awful handicap. I hope you find comfort in the knowledge that he is now as he was before. My best to you and your family at this time. God Bless you all.
