Obituary

Robert E. Heflin of Marble Cliff, went home to be with the Lord on December 30, 2003. Preceded in death by son, David L. Heflin. Survived by beloved wife, Edie Heflin: daughters Linda Allen, Carol Jewett, Rhonda Firth and Donna Heflin (of the home) sons William S. Heflin and Thomas E. Heflin, 9 Grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren. He was owner of Heflin Realty where he was a real estate broker and an appraiser for 30+ years in the greater Columbus area. Robert was Chief Petty Officer in the U.S.Navy, serving on the DD109, USS Crane during W.W. # II. Member of American Legion and Board of Realtors. Robert graduated from South High School and completed 2 years at Ohio State University. Long time member of Atonement Lutheran Church. He was a loving spouse, father and grandfather. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday January 5, 2004 at Atonement Lutheran Church, 1621 Francisco Road, Columbus, Ohio 43220, where family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. With Pastor Daniel Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to Atonement Lutheran Church in memory of Bob Heflin. Arrangements entrusted to the JOHN QUINT & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, 294-4416. Any floral deliveries should be made to the church. Condolennces may be sent to, www.johnquint.com.

our heart felt sorrow for the loss of dear bob...i will forever be grateful for the tape bob gave us of my father jimmy depetro who worked as an agent for bob many years ago.my thoughts forever of bob and my father who were long time friends.bob was a great person and i know your loss is great!
