Obituary

Robert DeGroff Drumm, age 95, passed away on Tuesday,June 21, 2011 at Amber Park in Cincinnati, Ohio. Robert was born to William & Matilda DeGroff and adopted by Clarence & Myrtle Drumm. He retired from the Timken Company after 44 years of dedicated service. A veteran of WW II and a graduate of Central High School, Franklin University and The Ohio State University. Robert was also a member of Franklin University and OSU alumni, St. Clair A.C, S.F.I. Lodge, Mello-Naires, CBIVA, Amvets #89 and former member of Amici D'Oro. He is preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife Mamie. Robert is survived by his daughter Dr. Grace A. Epstein, Cold Springs, KY, son Anthony D. (Lynne) Drumm, Rochester, MN, grandchilddren; Claire and Tobias (Katie) Epstein, Christopher Drumm and Tracy (April) King, brothers; Gilbert (Eva) DeGroff, Cincinnati, OH, Nelson (Bertha) Wethington, Camp Dennison, OH, James Richards, AL, John (Billy-Aliene) Richards, Henning, TN and sister-in-law Erma Jerome. Friends may call MONDAY June 27, 2011 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 3:00-7:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on TUESDAY June 28, 2011 at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Road, Rev. Fr. James T. Smith, Presider. FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO GATHER AT THE CHURCH FOR HIS FUNERAL MASS. Entombment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum, 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio. Dear Grace and Tony (and families):

God bless you all as you mourn the loss of your father. Watching him for these many months has been tough, I'm sure. But, know that he is well and happy again with your Mom in heaven. I didn't know my uncle well having only met him 3 or 4 times. But, he must have been a good man because of the people you both have become.
