Obituary
Richard Allen Stark, age 40, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Richard is survived by his parents, Roy and Leona Stark; sister, Stephanie Stark; brothers, Greg Stark and Jeff (Michelle) Stark; nieces, Holly Stark and Amber Elliott; great niece, Leah Kincaid. Richard's family will receive friends on Monday, April 29, 2013, from 5-7 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. Fifth Avenue, Columbus, with a funeral concluding visitation at 7:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com.

I worked with Rik for a few years at Big Lots. He was one of the reasons I enjoyed going to work. We debated so many topics, laughed a lot and became really good friends. He is surely missed. I can't and won't even try to imagine how you are all feeling. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was a friend and work colleague of Rik's. It's hard to pick a time to mention specifically we shared so many fun times together! Rik will always be the friend I stood with as we witnessed the 9/11 terror attacks unfold in TV. We both had our jaws on the floor as the second plane flew into the tower. Rik and I drank many a beer, shared more laughs then I can remember! He was always so giving, smart, tons of useless knowledge to share, just a awesome person to call your friend. I could go on for hours about Rik, I will miss seeing him in his office, cracking jokes with him but most of all I will just miss his friendship! I smile when I recall the good times and that's what he would have wanted :) My thoughts and prayers are with you through this difficult time but know your not alone he had so many people who he has touched over the years.
