To my dear aunt, cousins and extended family of Uncle Richie. . .
We are so sorry to hear this terrible news. How devastated you must be, especially having lost your beloved son/brother not so long ago. Our hearts go out to you. I have so many fond memories of days and nights spent at the DiCenzo home. I can remember it being filled with music and laughter. I was amazed at how you managed to run a loving, wonderful home with 8 children! But I could always see the closeness and love that was throughout the house. It's the Mom's and Dad's that usually hold things together, and Aunt Delores and Uncle Richie did a wonderful job. Uncle Richie was always so positive with me and always complimenting me, as you were, Aunt Delores. I spoke of Uncle Richie often to our daughters when they begin their interest in music many years ago. Our youngest recently took up the saxaphone (she already plays the flute!), so I had to relay some interesting sax stories to her that I remembered from years ago.
I know Uncle Richie has a long list of friends that will also miss him terribly. We pray that all of your hearts will be consoled knowing that he was loved and gave so much to all of us. May the Lord heal your hurt and give you strength in the days to come.
With much love,
Monika, Jim, Hope, April and Tiffany

I was so sad to hear that Uncle Richard passed away. I last saw him at Grandma Esther DiCenzo's funeral. He reminded me so much of my Grandpa Joe DiCenzo, it is hard to believe he has been gone for over 20 years. I have always missed the extended family gatherings, they will have always have an important place in my heart. You have created a wonderful extended family of your own. God Bless all of you.

We want to offer our condolences on your recent loss. Richard had been our insurance agent from 1965 until the agency was recently sold. While sometimes affecting a "gruff" exterior, we found him to be concerned, caring and compassionate. A true professional, Richard was always available, responsive and efficient. He will be missed.

You have a special family in Columbus. Share a laugh and let the world know how proud you are of each other. Stay on the upbeat. Peace always. the prayer of St. Franci Assisi always helps me. It speaks volumes at this hour.
