Obituary
Peter Edwin Susey, age 64, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 11th, 2006 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. A graduate of Linden McKinley High School, Class of 1959 and from The Ohio State University College of Engineering. For the past ten years Peter worked for SEA, Ltd.-a forensic engineering firm. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church, the Abruzzi Club and the Society of Professional Engineers. Peter was driven by his profession, however, being proud of his italian heritage and Catholic faith he was very devoted and committed to his family. He coached his boys in football and his daughter in softball. He always put others before himself. He was known for being a kind and generous person and will be eternally loved by his family and dearly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his parents Leo & Zenilda of Introdacqua, Italy. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 43 years Dianna, children Michael, Jodi(Scott)Eaton and Peter(Candi), grandchildren Sean, Alec, Sydney, Emily, Griffin and Joseph, brothers Ralph(Iris) and Robert(Bonnie) and very dear cousins Marcia(Robert)D'Andrea and Michael(Barbara)Bianchetti. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Friends may call WEDNESDAY, June 14th, 2006 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM with the Abruzzi Club service at 7:30 PM and Prayer Service at 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM on THURSDAY, June 15th, 2006 at St. John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church, 720 Hamlet Street, Columbus, Ohio, Rev. Fr. William A. Metzger Celebrant. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio. I was shocked and saddened to learn of Pete's death. Pete and I had been working together the past few months on sitting down to do some financial planning, and unfortunately due to scheduling conflicts, we had not been able to get together. I wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed getting to know Pete the past few months and that after things settle down for you, hopefully we'll have a chance to chat so I can bring you up to date on what Pete and I discussed. My relationship with pete was professional and lasted for several years with him providing his expertise to various insurance investigations that I was coordinating. Pete was always the consumate gentleman, professional and one that I considered a "telephone" friend, as we never personally met.
