Obituary
Peter J. Albanese, age 80, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2010 at Sunrise on the Scioto after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimers. A graduate of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School, Class of 1948. Retired from Virginia Homes. Pete was an avid golfer, fisherman and loved to play cards. Member of AIGA and Riviera Country Club. He is preceded in death by his father Anthony Albanese, sister Carmella (Jack) Davis. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Ann Albanese (Nini), son, Pete (Becky) Albanese, daughters, Tina Dencer and Jackie (Greg) Franken; grandchildren Alex and Jessica Franken and Taylor Dencer, his mother Antoniette "Ann" Albanese and brother; Anthony (Frances) Fudoli. Family wishes to express deep gratitude and thanks to Hospice HomeReach and caregivers at Sunrise for their wonderful care and loving support. Friends may call THURSDAY September 2, 2010 at the ST. BRIGID OF KILDARE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin, Ohio, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by Mass of Christian Burial, Rev. Fr. Mark Summers, Presider. Private family burial. Arrangements entrusted to the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE, 614-294-4416. Dear Ann,
It is with great sorrow and sadness that Marcy and I extend our sympathy to you and your family over the loss of Pete. We've lost a good man in Pete and that magnifies your loss.
Pete is physically gone, but the memory of his determined spirit and strong work ethic remain. How blessed we are for these many years of fond memories that can be recalled as we pray for his eternal happiness.
Our faith teaches us in ȁClife after deathȁD and with this belief we hope to see our friend Pete in the next life.
