Jamie & Jeremy,

Your dad was a great man to many, many, people whose lives he helped change for the better. He and I had personal conversations with about our children and I can tell you he loved both of you deeply. He took great joy from talking about you and his relationships with each of you. You and your family are in my prayers. Take Care, Joe Parrott

Our condolances and sympathy upon the loss of your father. Most of us "old folks" have experienced the loss of parents, but seldom at your age. We know you will continue successfully despite this loss, and look forward to your return to your class.

Writing about my experiences in Viet Nam and started thinking about your Dad. So I typed his name on my computer search and to my surpise his name came up. Please accept my condolences belated as they are. He was a special person and character. I have never forgot him as he and I ran the Public Information Office for the 4th Transportation Command in Viet Nam. I had many adventures as the PIO field correspondence thanks to him. Feel free to email me for a couple of tall tales. Mike V
