A Giant has left our realm, but the memories of his life among us has and will continue to cast shadows among those of us who were blessed by his ambition, drive, loving countenance and sparkle in those eyes. Dad said many times,"If I'm ever stranded on an island somewhere, I want Nick Savko by my side." It was Nick who prodded Dad to put me on a bulldozer at age nine (9) to see how it worked. Nothing was ever impossible to the two of them, which is why I know that heaven is in very good hands.

Fondest regards,
Don Ammerman
