Obituary

Nancy Jean Trigg, born on October 7, 1951, passed away on February 17, 2024, in her home in Grandview Heights, Ohio. Nancy was the oldest child born to William Grant and Virginia May (Weiser) Trigg. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Barbara Lee Trigg. Nancy is survived by her step-nephew Shawn Dudley of Grandview Heights and many cousins. Nancy was a proud alumnus of Grandview Heights High School (Class of 1969) and Miami University (Class of 1973). Nancy's interests included gardening, piloting small airplanes, reading good books and watching sports of all kinds. She was a gifted crocheter, who made many beautiful shawls and blankets that she generously donated to others. Nancy was a big fan of "Jeopardy" and enjoyed solving word puzzles. Professionally, Nancy spent her career working for Battelle Memorial Institute and later for The Ohio State University where she was a dedicated team member who was well respected by all. A brief Graveside Service will be held on Friday April 5, 2024, at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at 10:00 am located at 5600 E. Broad St. Columbus, Ohio 43213.
