Mary Ann Pezzot, age 74, of Powell, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday October 8th 2007 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Mary was born June 19, 1933, in Columbus. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1951, and was the Valedictorian of her class. She met and married the love of her life, Dino Pezzot. She raised four children and was a founding partner of Dino Pezzot Cement Contractors. She was a member of St. Matthias Parish. Mary was a woman of strong faith who had a huge heart and always put other people before herself. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her grandchildren participate in their sports, and cheering on her favorite teams-the Buckeyes, Reds and Blue Jackets. Mary will be missed as a wife, a mother and a friend. Her strength, love, compassion and intelligence will truly be missed by those she left behind. She is preceded in death by parents George and Olga Della Flora; and her in-laws,Umberto and Italia Pezzot. Survived by loving husband of 52 years; Dino: her children, George (Cindy), Rene, Dino Victor (Michelle), and Tim (Laurie); her grandchildren, Katie, Ben, Tyler, Max, Jenna, Heather, Nicole and Jennifer; her sisters Elaine (Kilby) Strickland and Toni (Rich) McCullough, sisters-in-law Norma Pezzoti, Bruna Corazza and Angelina Pezzot; her special nieces and nephews, Jeremy Rea, Jamie Rea, Karla Fathauer and Kevin Strickland; special cousins Hugo and Janice Della Flora; and many Friends and relatives in the USA, Italy and Australia. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM on SATURDAY October 13 2007 at St. Matthias Catholic Church 1582 Ferris Road, Columbus, Ohio Rev. Fr. James T. Smith Presider. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
