I must first say i am so sorry i can't attend this service for such a special person. Also a special thank you to Jeff Fortner for letting me know about this sad news. I knew her as mom. That is all she would let me call her by. As a child and playing football with Rich Jr, Mom always treated me as family.(even though I was Irish, I think she made me the exception or I would like to think) It was truly a pleasure to be in Moms company(as long as you were acting right) Myself and my family are very proud to know such a great person that leaves such a great legacy. Our hearts are out to all that knew and loved MOM. I do thank GOD for knowing Mom Franchini. Mom i will never forget you inviting me to all of those wonderful Sunday dinners. It truly made me feel special. With all our love, Mike Flynn and family. May god bless you as you have blessed others.

I am so sorry to hear of your mothers death. She is with God now and probably much happier, except that she had to leave the rest of her family. You are a wonderful daughter and I know that your mother was very proud of you. Take care Mary and please keep in touch. - Connie Cornell

Dear Franchini Family, Richie and Steve - I wanted to send my deepest sympathies to your family. Mary (Grandma Franchini)was a wonderful lady. She was a big part of my growing up and youth. Mike Flynn, Tim Stein and I pratically lived at her house hanging out with Richie. As the years past no matter where I ran into her (Big Bear or Carfagna's) she never forgot who I was and always had a memory or story about me and Rich as kids. She will definitely be missed. May God be with you to comfort you at this time.

Ricard, I was so sorry to hear about your grandmother. I know that she was like a mother to you. I really loved that woman. I still remember her showing me how to make Italian Bread Soup on Christmas Day years ago. I hope that you are doing well and take care. I think of you often and wonder how you are doing.
Lisa
