Obituary

Mary Margaret Brown, age 83, entered Eternal Life Sunday morning, July 15, 2007. "Little Mary" was a fun, loving Italian mother and grandmother and a valued friend to many. She had a big heart and a sunny spirit and she was a passionate Buckeye football fan and a lifelong Columbus' resident. Mary was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during WWII. She retired from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources' Division of Oil & Gas in 1992 and she was a volunteer at the Gillie Center for the past seven years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Brown; mother, "Tillie" Flesch; sister and brother-in-law, Josephine and Fred Zicard; and grandson, Shawn Connors. Mary is survived by her son, Terry (T.C.) Brown; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Anne Brown; twin granddaughters, Kelly and Mackenzie Brown; brother and sister in-law, Tony and Vivian Flesch; nephews, nieces and a clan of cousins. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. WEDNESDAY at THE JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. THURSDAY at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Road at Karl, Columbus. Rev. Fr. James T. Smith, Celebrant. Burial, St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, Ohio.
