Our thoughts, love and sincere sympathy to you all. It's been many years since we've seen each other, but I remember Marty when he was young, and remember Justin and Haley when they were real small. Too bad that families drift apart during the years. Take care.

Basketball. Football. Fun. Joy. Laughter...so much laughter...this is what I will remember! This life - gift from God that it is - is fragile and fleeting. For Marty, life has changed, not ended. May you, his family, find hope and consolation in this reality and in the promise of life everlasting. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace! The strife is o'er, the battle done, the victory of life is won!

We are still in shock over Marty's passing. I am so glad I got to spend some time with him in before he left us. I will cherish ALL the times Marty and I spent together, especially the night Duke beat Kentucky, we were BOTH sick after that. Justin & Haley, if you ever need me, just call. Wildcats and Tarheels forever! I'll miss you Marty.......
