Marjorie Harlow Amicon, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2013. She was born in Columbus to the late George and Ann (Murphy) Harlow. Marge was raised in Grandview and graduated from Sacred Heart. In addition to being the mother of seven perfectly behaved sons, Marge’s interests included movies, swimming, Bishop Watterson sports, jazz, NBA basketball, and traveling to New Orleans, Jamaica and Redstone, Colorado. In her later years, Marge was a devoted grandmother and one of the favorite residents of Seton Square North and Arlington Court Nursing Home. Marge was preceded in death by her husband, William (Billy) Amicon; son, Andy; and sister Mary. She is survived by sons Rocky, Billy (Kim), Ronnie, Mick (Vikki), Rick (Annie), Bob (April); grandchildren Cassie (Andrew), Emelio, Callie, Eli, Maria, Nina, Derek, Gabriel, Gus, Luke and Joe; great-grandchild Parker and family friend (also perfectly behaved) Jack Cardi. The family wishes to thank the staff of Arlington Court for their attentive care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Central Ohio Diabetes Association or Bishop Watterson High School.
