Obituary
Mario Basile, age 70, passed away on November 11, 2003 at his residence. Born in Moscufo Provincia di Pescara, Italy in 1933 to Carmine and Giovina. In 1972 he moved his family to the United States. Mario was a giving and caring person who put his family before himself. Known to many as a hardworker with a good sense of humor. He is prceded in death by his parents and brothers: Renato, Ernesto, and Alfonso. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 37 years Diana, children: Rudy, Gianluca and Deborah(Howard)Marotto, grandchildren Dominic Basile and Marina Marotto, brother Vincenzo and sisters: Antoinetta and Amelia and many nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends at the JOHN QUINT & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue on Thursday November 13, 2003 from 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday November 14, 2003 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 584 West Broad Street, Rev. Fr. Kevin F. Lutz, Celebrant. Debbie- gramps and I are looking at the obituary right now. You are right, that is a great picture of your dad, the way I will always remember him (always trying to get me to drink some wine).
