Michael Jr. just told me about Dad. I'm so sorry to hear that he passed so quickly... Michael Jr. told me he had just taken Henry down to see him and that it didn't look too good. Try and take comfort that he didn't have to suffer long and that he is in a better place. Michael, I know I don't have to tell you, but if you need me, please know that I am always here - whatever, whenever. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and all the family... Marti

These sincere condolences are from the former next door neighbors of Mr. Rayo on Elaine Ave. on Columbus' east side. We will remember "Mike" as a congenial, friendly neighbor that enjoyed conversation and playing golf. We still remember him leaving on Saturday mornings to play golf with his buddies at the Raymond course on the west side. Even on rainy mornings he would put his clubs on the back of his pickup truck parked in front of the house next door and leave for Raymond. While we never played golf with Mike we often talked about the game that was of interest to all of us. We were very sorry to learn of his illness, his deteriorating health and finally of his passing. The family has our deepest sympathy in their loss.

I am sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed seeing Mike every Saturday in the summer for golf. He was always a cheery face. I know he enjoyed golf with pasta fagioli and we enjoyed him.

Dear Joan and family, I'm trully sorry to hear about Mike's passing. Mike was always the guy that had something to say that would cheer us all up when things weren't going well. He always had a positive attitude. I wish I would have had more time to have worked together with Mike at Franklin. While he was there, he bailed me out several times, even though our years together were short. I'm sure he's critiquing the golf courses in Heaven as we speak. He will be an inspiration for everyone there. We'll miss him, Jim Muenchow

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Mike Rayo. Fortunately I had the opportunity to talk with Mike on the phone earlier this summer. I began work at Franklin Glue Co. on May 1, 1963 and for the first year Mike was my boss. After that we took responsibilities for different phases of the customer services laboratory. I enjoyed working for them with Mike for 20 years until I took a sales position in Michigan in 1983. Even after that we would see each other frequently at sales meetings and other events until I retired in 2002. He will be missed by all who worked with him at Franklin. He was a fine gentleman who always had a smile on his face and a good word for everyone. He was the best formulating chemist I had a chance to work with, I will miss him and his cheerful voice.
