Obituary

Luigi F."Gigi" Lombardo, age 86, passed away on Friday December 3, 2010 at Whetstone Care Center. Retired from the US Postal Service after 40 years of dedicated service. Preceded in death by sister Pauline Lombardo Cianflona, brothers; Leo, Perry, Isadore "Benny", Theodore and Edward Lombardo and nephew Sam Mogavero. Loved and survived by nieces; Karen Lombardo Wells, Linda Lombardo Clay and Monica S. Lombardo; nephews Ed, Bob, Mike, Joe, Ron and Mark Lombardo; great nephews and great nieces; Raymond Ruble, James and Robert Mogavero, Paula Myers, Donna Mogavero and Gina Parish. Gigi will always be remembered for his love of family and sports; especially baseball and the New York Yankees. Special thanks to Bob and Diane Mogavero for their tender loving care. Friends may call TUESDAY December 7, 2010 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Liturgy will be held 12:00 PM on WEDNESDAY December 8 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel,(within the grounds of St. Joseph Cemetery), Rev. Msgr. Anthony Missimi, Officiating.
