Obituary
Luciano Pellegrini, 64 died Sunday morning at home. Born May 25, 1946 in Pescara, Italy, but grew up in Sulmona, Italy. Married in Columbus, Ohio on April 17, 1971. Luciano is preceded in death by his father Bruno M. Pellegrini, mother Giulia Pellegrini(LaSelva), brother Luigi Pellegrini and two sisters Anna Baldassarre and Maria Auddino. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Cathy Pellegrini(Holland), daughter Sonia (Vittorio) Romanelli, two sons Luciano B. Pellegrini and Antonio Pellegrini, four grandchildren; Isabella Pellegrini, Luciano Pellegrini, Mattea Romanelli and Luca Romanelli, sister and brother-in-law Graziella and Giorgio DiBartolomeo of Sulmona, Italy, sisters-in-law Lenora Pellegrini, Shirley Turner, Leota Miller and Barbara Reese, brothers-in-law Cloise R. Holland, Duane Holland and wife Jackie, Mario Baldassarre and wife Debbie and Dante Auddino. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. It is sad that one we cherish should be taken from our home; But the joys that do not perish live in memory alone. Friends may call TUESDAY August 31, 2010 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 3:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM on WEDNESDAY September 1, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 313 North State Street, Westerville, Ohio, Rev. Fr. David E. Gwinner, Presider. FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET AT CHURCH. Entombment will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Pellegrini. He was such a caring person, loving husband, father and grandfather. I feel lucky to have been able to have known him. You all are in my prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at the loss of your husband and father. I enjoyed working with Lou and he always spoke of his family. I remember we had fun watching the monarch butterflies hatch in one of the kindergarten rooms. May God bless you.
