Louis A Nobile Sr., beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather died peacefully on March 22, 2012 at The Forum at Knightsbridge surrounded by his family. He lived a full life and, at age 98, left for heaven to join his wife, Mary, who passed away in 1996. He was a graduate of Columbus Central High School, and retired from Capitol Manufacturing and Supply Company in 1978 after 45 years of service. He was an avid fisherman, bowler, and a Yankee and Buckeye fan. Dad was preceded in death by his wife, and our mother, Mary; his parents Antonio and Filomena Nobile; brothers Romolo, Dominic, Frank, and Anton; sisters Mary(Bennett), Rose(Grogg), Irene (Butkewicz), Afonzina, and Augustina. He is survived by his sister, Edith (Hunter); sons Paul (Mary) and Louis Jr. (Joyce); grandchildren David, Mark, Sharon (Antonio D’Alberto), James (Connie), Martin, and Julie (Ken Drnek); 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was a 72 year member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Dad spent the last 30 years of his life without sight, and was still able to live independently, maintain a summer garden, and repair anything electrical or mechanical. A special thanks to his niece Theresa Schreck who was a great help to him during the last 15 years. Our family would also like to express its sincerest gratitude to the nurses and caregivers of both Mount Carmel Hospice and The Forum at Knightsbridge for their professional and caring service. Friends may call MONDAY March 26, 2012 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME from 6:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM on TUESDAY March 27 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2165 West Broad Street, Rev. Fr. Dennis E. Stevenson, Presider.
