Obituary

Lawrence Lombardi, age 82, passed away on Monday August 30th 2004 at Ohio State University Medical Center. He proudly served in the US Army during World War ll in Europe as part of the 7th Armored Division. Retired from General Motors after 30+ years of dedicated service. A former band member for the American Legion and member of St. Christopher Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his parents George & Lucy, brothers Anthony and Peter, sisters Susi(Jack)Lombardi and Mary(Paul)Piacentini and sister-in-law Ann Lombardi. Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sylvia(Onorato), sons Louie and Larry, grandchildren Michael(Cori)Lombardi and Stephanie(Brooke)Mossgrove, great grandchildren Tyler, Garrett, Andrew and Emilie, brother Dominic, brothers-in-law Dominick Onorato and Ed Onorato, sisters-in-law Rosamond and Angeline Lombardi. Also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call Friday September 3rd 2004 at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on Saturday September 4th 2004 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church 1559 Roxbury Road Msgr. Romano Ciotola, Celebrant and Msgr. John K. Cody, Con-Celebrant. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com.
