Obituary
Laverne Mary Peponis, age 88, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Wesminster-Thurber. She was born April 17, 1924 to the late Joseph Anthony and Annetta (Jankowski) Ausbeck. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom George Peponis, D.O; brother, Joseph A. Ausbeck, Jr., and sister, Alice Agnes. She is survived by her sons, Nicholas Tom (Sharla) Peponis, D.O., George Tom (Jenifer) Peponis, and Tom George Peponis, Jr., D.O.; grandchildren, Tom (Margaret), George, Peter, Jordan, Alexandra and Alaina; brother, Paul (Gail) Ausbeck of Birmingham, Ala.; multiple nieces and nephews, and Katie Yutzy, a loyal family friend. She was a member of the Annuniciation Greek Orthodox Church. Laverne's family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at THE JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. Fifth Avenue. Funeral 10 a.m., Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Annunication Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 555 N. High Street, Columbus (43215). Burial to follow at Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church or to the Westminster-Thurber Employee Appreciation Fund, 717 Neil Avenue, Columbus (43215). so very sorry to hear abt your mom,s passing, she was a very sweet lady and a hard worker and always was so polite and smiling and she will be missed, she is in the arms of the angels now she was a great lady who raised wonderful children. may the lord be with you through your grieving time sandy herron
