Katherine Mae Borghese, age 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at Mayfair Village. Retired from Schottensteins Department Store after 20+ years of dedicated service. She is preceded in death by Parents Cecil and Lova Parsons and loving husband Marion A. Borghese, son Joseph Borghese, Sr. and grandson Joseph "Joey" Borghese, Jr. Survived by Children: Eileen(Terry L.)Welsh, David M. (Vivian) Borghese, and Marion A. Borghese, Jr., grandchildren: Katrina (Jeff) Rollins, Kristi (Scott) Brown, Kateri (Mark) Voit, Brandi Borghese, Mario A. (Tony) Borghese, Matthew Borghese, Tiffani M. and Joshua L. Borghese both of Beaumont, TX, great grandchildren: Vincent Rollins,Seth and Joshua Brown, & Katherine "Katey" & Luke Voit, sister: Florence (James) Boyes and Louise Tullis & brother, Herbert Parsons. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family will receive friends on Friday, May 23, 2003 at the John Quint & Sons Funeral Home, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, from 2:00-6:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 3:30 p.m.. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2003 at the St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Road, Rev. Fr. James T. Smith, Celebrant. Burial will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 North High Street. PROCESSION TO FORM AT CHURCH. Condolences may be sent to www.johnquint.com.

Dear Marion,
I am not sure if you remember me or not. It has been so many years. We grew up in the same neighborhood. I lived on Northglen Drive, near Debbie Ramsey and Raymond Kennedy. Anyways, I just want you to know that I am so very sorry about your mother. I lost my father and both of my sisters, Debbie and Sandy Hanning. I hope your family is doing ok. I hope you're doing well in your life. I really hope you remember me. My sister Debbie babysat you and Joe and Joe used to like me. He asked me out on my first date. I told him yes, we were supposed to go to a movie and I was so shy I chickened out at the last minute. I think I was in the 7th grade at the time. Sorry to hear about Aunt Penny. We just lost Mom to the Lord on April 27. We been real busy taking care of her things. Don't know if we'll be able to make it over to see all of you but, wanted you to know you are all in our Thoughts & Prayers. Aunt Penny will be Truly Missed.

I am so sorry to hear about your mother. She is loved by all. I have many, many great memories of your mom and dad along with all of you. I wouldn't trade those memories for anything.
I am very sorry I couldn't make it over. My health is extemely poor and I am in a wheelchair now. In and out of hospital and nursing home all the time.

My prayers are with you all. Rest assured, your mother is with your father and the Lord as we speak. It is comforting to know that.
