Please accept this message with our deepest sympathy for your family. We had only met Joe a handful of times through the years, but it didn't take long for us to figure out that he was a wonderful man. We feel privledged to have known him and share sadness with your family.
Lisa: My greatest efforts were attempted in trying to be there to hold your hand during this hard time. I am so truly sorry that I couldn't be there. Please know that my heart will be there with you as you lay your dad to rest and that I am already crying with you and your family!
I can't wait until you guys are home again. Please give your mom a great big hug and kiss from us.
We love you guys! Gary & Jen

Dear Sue: I was so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I remember the way my dad would yell at Lisa, "Lizzza LaTorre", and how Joe would come over and shoot a couple of baskets with me and then he and dad would sit down with a couple of beers and watch me shoot for awhile. I don't think you know this but I have always considered Joe one of the five finest men that I have ever met. I was sorry that I could not get to the calling hours, but I was so glad that I made it to the funeral mass, and my knees buckeled a liitle bit when they put the flag over his coffin. I go out to Mom and Dad's grave site quite often and I will stop by Joe's site and say a few prayers for him when I am out there. Last night I went out and shot a couple of baskets and looked up to heaven and said, "Hey, Dad and Joe, have a couple of beers for me". If you ever need anything please feel free to contact me at my law office at 791-2622 or my cell phone is 614-296-9020.
All of my prayers are with you abd the kids,
Bob Hendrix
