Obituary
Joseph James Bowman Jr., age 74, passed away on Tuesday, October 4th, 2005 at Mount Carmel West Hospital. A retiree of Steel Technologies Inc., where he worked with longtime friend Merwin Ray and his two sons Brad and Stu. Joe was an avid outdoors man, who loved to fish and duck hunt. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Margaret, wife Dolores, sister Marjorie L. Gibson and nephew Michael Gibson. Survived by daughter Karen Lowe, step-children Peggy(Barry) Kohn, Richy(Candice)Hann and David Schackne; 2 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and nephews James, Robert and Patrick Gibson, niece Mary Kay Gibson Mulllavey. Service 12 Noon Monday, October 10, 2005, Mt. Calvary Cemetery Chapel, Steubenville, OH. Arrangements entrusted to the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue,Columbus,OH. Our deepest sympathy to you in the loss of your father. We go back in friendship to the 50's when he was a member of our wedding party. He and your mother were our close friends. We'll miss seeing him at high school reunions and hearing from him on occasion. He always spoke of you lovingly and he will be surely missed by his friends in Steubenville.
