I join you in your sorrow on the passing of " the coach ". There is little doubt in my mind that he saved that one special and unique block that he is teaching his players on the big practice field !!!!!

I want to send my condolences to the Bossetti family. I played for Coach Bossetti at Watterson in 1986-87. I still tell my kids today that I played for the best offensive line coach this area has ever seen, and it was an honor to play for him. The best memories of Coach though would be the off-season film sessions at his house. Mrs. Bossetti would make us meatball sandwiches and we would spend the afternoon watching tapes of games from the year before and of course being instructed by Coach. Really, we as players were there mainly for the food, but looking back, I realized that he was more the than just our coach, he was a friend and mentor. I could go on for hours with stories and memories of Coach Bossetti. I will probably be telling those to my kids for the next 20 years.
Sincerely,
Chris Boyle

Class of 1986, Watterson High School. I had the opportunity to play 2 years under Coach Bossetti when he was hired by Ron Shay before my jr. season. We had the great chance of meeting him in the off-season where he taught us a little boxing on a homemade punching bag in the locker room. I felt special when I was one of about 7 players invited to his home the last day of 2-a-day practices to enjoy a very large meal prepared by Mrs. Bossetti. He was a great teacher, great coach, and even a greater character. Coach Bossetti was definitely one of those guys who had genuine goodness in him. I don't believe there was a kid on the team who didn't respect and appreciate him. I am very glad that I had the opportunity to play for such a local coaching legend and I will always have very fond memories of him.
I work out of town and will be leaving on a flight to Baltimore on Monday morning (the 18th). I am disappointed that I will not be able to leave my condolences on Monday evening but I am glad that the funeral home allows people to do so like this.
My condolences to the family for the loss and I just hope that you have very happy and proud memories of a good man.

Bossetti Family,

I was one of Joe's football players at Watterson (86). I loved listening to his stories he told. He gave good lessons about life that I will always remember. I will keep you in my prayers

I am truely sorry for you loss.

Coach Bossetti was a great man that I looked up to with admiration and respect. He devoted so much of his time to teaching young men about the game of football and the lessons of life. I am happy for all those he touched over the years and sad for those who will never get to know Coach Bossetti the way I did.
