Obituary

John Arthur Frabott II, aged 60, passed away on May 10, 2026 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born January 15, 1966, to John and Beverly Frabott. John cared deeply for his family and most enjoyed spending time with his three grandchildren. He built a business from thrifting and reselling, in which he loved the freedom he had to cruise around town and be available to help his loved ones whenever needed. He was relentless in teasing those he liked - known to drag a joke out for years. He also enjoyed listening to sports radio, traveling, watching football (Go Steelers!), and was a lover of music and comedy. John is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cindy; children, Aaron (Anna) and Cassy (Cameron); grandchildren, Cohen, Maya and Isaiah; nieces, Megan, Alli, and Mackenzie; nephews, Blaine and Payton; mother-in-law, Barb; his "dancer" sister-in-law, Glenna; aunt, Ann (Jim), and many other beloved family, chosen family, and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, 1177 W. 5th Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43212 on May 21, 2026 from 5-7 pm. In his honor, please consider a donation to Colony Cats Adoption Center, colonycats.org.

We hope you are somewhere warm, cruisin' with the top down, draped in velvet, a little ditty on the radio, mannequin in the trunk - preparing for the biggest rager ever.

We send our deepest condolences to your family during this time. Cindy and John were there with us through some of our happiest, and sad times. With zero judgement. Thank you for being you John. You were definitely one of a kind. You knew the right, and wrong to say at the right and wrong times. I smile as I type that, because if you know, you know. Rest peacefully John. You've done all the good deeds you were placed here to do ❤️

I was saddened to hear of his passing. We were childhood friends and schoolmates for many years. Even though life took us in different directions, I always thought highly of him. Prayers to his family during this difficult time.
