Obituary
John T. DiFrangia, 66, of Columbus, Ohio died October 31, 2009, at his home after a long battle with esophageal cancer. John is survived by his devoted wife of forty years, Patricia A. DiFrangia (Pelleschi). John and Patricia were married in October of 1969 at St. Anthony’s church in Youngstown, Ohio. Their marriage produced two children, John A. DiFrangia of Hilliard and Jaclyn L. Nelson (DiFrangia) of Columbus, Ohio. John is married to Helene A. DiFrangia and Jaclyn is married Vince L. Nelson. John was blessed with five adoring grandchildren, Avel (12), Anthony(7), Chloe(3), John(18mo), and Carlo (3mo). John leaves behind his loving family John and Delphine Belcik of Youngstown, Oh., Maxmillian and Marie Pelleschi of Youngstown, Oh., Richard and Shirley DelBoccio of Youngstown, Oh., Ronald and Rachel Hill of Youngstown, Oh, and sister Audrey L. Iaquinto. Mr. DiFrangia was born June 18, 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio to John and Lucille DiFrangia, both preceded him in death. He graduated from Liberty High School and later served four years during the Vietnam era in the United States Navy. Mr. DiFrangia was stationed on the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk. John enjoyed a passion for golf, horse racing and fine dining. Friends may call WEDNESDAY November 4, 2009 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on THURSDAY November 5th 2009 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 1559 Roxbury Road, Msgr. Romano Ciotola Presider. FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET AT CHURCH. Entombment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum, 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my friend Mo.My thoughts and prayer are with all the family during this time of loss. We go a long way back.We would see each other in church and we would go bowling jackpot at Liberty and Northside Bowling Alley's.We played some golf and had lot of good times.We all seem to loose contact thru the years but I will always remember the good times we had.May God bless your family and Mo.

When I read the paper this morning I was truly saddened to read of Mo. We bowled together and played golf he was a great person. The smile on the picture is the best memory I will have of him,it is such a contagious smile. My thoughts and prayers to the family,our loss is heavens reward. Godspeed mo.

I am so glad I was able to view this wonderful tribute to John. You know how much I wanted to be with you, but my love and prayers are sent with my blessings. Your faith, friends and family will be your strength at this time of sorrow and all the times to come. You were truly blessed to be with the "Love of your life", a wonderful Father and Grandfather and to have shared the life you so enjoyed together. Also my condolences to his family Max/Marie, Shirley/Dick, and Rachel/Ron, I know the sadness you feel for the loss of the Brother you so warmly embraced and loved so much.
