Obituary
Jessie Marie Hill. It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother at age 85 on April 17, 2009. Born Gerosolima Cruscifista Ciardelli, the fifth child of Valente Giuseppe and Argia Marie Casa Ciardelli on April 8, 1924, in Columbus. Jessie dedicated her life of unwavering love and devotion to all of her family. She was an excellent cook and a family legend. Jessie is preceded in death by her brothers, Mario, Valentino (Margaret), Santino and Carl, sisters, Norma (LeRoy) Reeves, Dina (Dominic) Pallone and Alida (Paul) Walters, daughter Linda Lee McGraner, 2nd husband Bob McGraner and brother-in-law Bob Stevens. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lois J. Farmer Minico, Frank E. (Tina) Farmer, Jr., Robert L. (Scotty) McGraner, Jr., Carol Ann McGraner, John M. (Pam) McGraner and, Pamela D. Hill, grandchildren David L. (Barbara) Minico, II, Jennifer L. Minico, Frank (Bettyann Grooms) Farmer, III, Kim (Eric) Farmer Wiley, Todd Farmer, Angela Farmer, Robert (Jennifer) McGraner, III, Michael McGraner, Lisa Arnold Green, Beau Arnold, Caitlyn McGraner, Christina Gatliff, Carl Gatliff II, Brandi (Brad) Haulter, Scott (Sarah) Fridenmaker, Aaron (Janessa) Fridenmaker and 20 great grandchildren. Also left to remember her is her brother John (Juanita) Ciardelli, sister Jeanette Stevens, and sister-in-law Betty Ciardelli, numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends including Norma Hill. Friends may call MONDAY, April 20, 2009 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM on TUESDAY, April 21, 2009 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel(within the St. Joseph Cemetery) 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio. Private Interment will follow. Jessie received loving care from the Franklin County Senior Options, Heartland Hospice and her beloved family. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute in memory of Jessie to your choice of: the Franklin County Senior Options, 280 E. Broad Street, Room 300, Columbus, Ohio 43215, Heartland Hospice, 6500 Busch Boulevard, #210, Columbus, Ohio 43229, or the Alzheimer Association of Central Ohio, 3380 Tremont Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221. Love you all and are holding you close to my heart. Jessie was the perfect example of family love, the word legend was very appropriate. She has taught us the importance of family love with her arms always wide open. Will miss her but will carry the lessons she lived. Some of my fondest moments in life as a kid were spent at her house with all of you.

You are all in my prayers. I, too, feel the loss. I loved Jessie very much. She nurtured me, mentally and physically for many years. Her arms were always open to me; she never turned anyone away. I know she loved me. Jessie is in a bigger and better home now and I know she will continue to take care of her family as she always did. Love always.

All of you are in my thoughts & prayers. Jessie was the perfect example of what "unconditional love" is. No matter what, she always loved her family & stood by them. Losing my own Mom very suddenly a few years ago, I know what you are going through and my heart goes out to all of you. I was very blessed to have her as part of my life for so many years and I will miss her.
