Mrs. Borchers,
I remember both of you when I would go to Joe's to get my haircut a million years ago.
May your beloved sister rest in peace and know she has seen Jesus.
Love,
Lisa

Dear Mrs. Anderson,
Amy Bennett recently told me about your husband's death; I had missed seeing his obituary earlier. I'm the international student advisor at Otterbein College, and Amy and Don are hosting one of our German students. I'm writing to express my sympathy for your loss and to let you know that I always held Mr. Anderson in very high esteem. I'm a 1965 graduate of Brookhaven High School, and he was my chemistry teacher. He was an excellent teacher and coach, but the thing I remember the most about him is that although I wasn't an athlete, he always treated me with respect and made a lot of my musical abilities. I really appreciated that attention. And while I was in college, he hired my band a couple of times to play at the Swim and Racquet Club. I'll always remember him fondly, as countless others will.
Sincerely,
Charles Vedder
P.S. I lived in the same neighborhood for 16 years with Fritz Goss, who I understand spoke at his funeral.
