I am writing this email to offer condolence and a word of comfort to you. Death is something very hard for ones to go through but is something the human race can not escape from. The bible offers us a word of comfort at Is. 26:19 where it says " Your dead ones will live ..... They will rise up".
You know, it was not even God's will for ones to die. We can see this in his creation of Adam and Eve but it was through their sin that death spread to all men. (Romans 5:12) The bible also tells us the condition of the dead at Ecc. 9:5 where it says "...but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all". But in Ps. 37:29 it gives us a hope for those in death and alive that are doing the will of God. It says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it". The bible also tells us the condition of those in this world at Rev. 21:4 were it says "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore the former things have passed away". Is that not a marvelous hope? But Jesus tells us in John 5:28, 29 "DO not marvel at this, because the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out".
I hope these words were a comfort and may God be with you.

Neighborly Love,

Dear Jerry,
I was in Cadiz today and heard of Jim's death. It was quite a shock.I wanted to let you know that you and the rest of your family are in my prayers. Losing a sibling is very difficult and it must be even more difficult to lose your twin. Those carefree days we spent in High School sometimes seem so long ago and other times seem like yesterday. I'm sorry I won't be able to come to Columbus tomorrow to pay my respects, but I will be thinking of you and your family.
Sincerely,
Jeanie Moreland Wheeler
