James B. Sullivan, age 82, of Reynoldsburg, died on Friday, May 4, 2012, at Mount Carmel East Hospital. He was born in Hayman, Kentucky to Temous and Martha (Fraley) Sullivan. He received his B.A. from the University of Kentucky and his M.A. from Xavier University, retiring after a career in education of 30 years from the South-Western City Schools. He was a member of Saint Pius X Catholic Church and a Veteran of the Korean War. Jim is survived by his wife Betty of which they were in their 60th year of marriage; their two sons, Michael (Elaine) Sullivan of Wapakoneta and Reverend Jan C. Sullivan of Washington Court House; also surviving are sisters-in-law, Emma Specht, Helen Begley and Barbara Begley; and brother-in-law, Howard Hatten. Preceding him in death were his parents; sister, Forest Rose Paulsen and brother, Hubert H. Sullivan. Friends may call on TUESDAY at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue from 5-8 p.m., with a Vigil Service at 7:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass is 11:00 a.m., on WEDNESDAY at Saint Colman of Cloyne Catholic Church, 219 South North Street, Washington Court House, with his son, Father Jan C. Sullivan as Celebrant. Burial to follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, Ohio.
