Isaac Garcia, age 81, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on October 9th. He was born March 11, 1924 in Topia, Durango, Mexico, son of Delfino Garcia and Juana Lopez. Isaac is preceded in death by his parents; son, Juan Manuel, and brother Delfino. Isaac arrived in the United States in 1944 at the age of 20 and became a U.S. Citizen in 1957. An incredible creative man, he was a gifted musician, cement craftsman, and builder. He retired from Bale Contracting Inc, and was a member of the Cement Masons; Local 132. He is survived by Louise Mary, his beloved wife of nearly 60 years, married on October 25, 1945. He was a loving and encouraging father and is survived by his four daughters, Juanita(Phil) Boyd, Gloria Garcia Minor, Blanca(Bruce) Longstreth, and Teresa(Chris) Engroff. He is survived by eight grandchildren: Angela(Tom) Burns, David(Susan) Barney, Larry(Claudia Means)Barney, Chiara(Adrian)Obregon; Jared(Colette) Boyd, Casey Boyd, Celena Garcia, Christina O'Connor and ten great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his three brothers Edmundo, Manuel and Francisco, numerous nieces and nephew and a host of friends. Friends may call Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Ave from 6:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 13, 2005 at St. James the Less, 1652 Oakland Park Ave, Columbus, OH 43224. FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET AT CHURCH.
