Obituary
Irma Elaine Smith, age 69, passed away on Thursday July 18, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her family. She's preceded in death by her husband, Charles Smith; parents, William and Nellie (Hoplite) Shipman and her sister, Norma Jean Brown. She's survived by her children, Charlene (Orville) Funk, Eileen (Dennis) Phipps, Linda Vanderpool and Charles (Tammy) Smith; step-son, Bill (Cheryl) Smith; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Smith; cousins, nieces and nephews. Irma was a volunteer from 2007 until 2012 at the Open Hand Food Pantry. Irma's family will receive friends on Friday, July 19, 2013 (Today) from 5-8 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus, where her funeral will be held on Satuday, July 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow, Obetz Cemetery. Irma would light up the room with her big smile! She will be truly missed by everyone who knew her. But, I know that she's just waiting until she can party with us all once again!
