Helen Teresa Ransom(Panico), age 81, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2003 at Mount Carmel West Hospital, after a short illness. She is preceded in death by parents Guerino & Rosina Panico, brother Joseph (Lorraine) Panico, Thomas Panico and brother-in-law Gerald Sullivan. Survived by husband of nearly 50 years Roy Ransom, sister Mildred Sullivan of Palm Springs, CA., brother Anthony (Carolyn) Panico of Columbus, sisters-in-law Patricia Panico of Cathedral City, CA., Avlyn Grindstaff, Glennie St. Clair and Doris Williams, all of Roanoke, VA., along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at the John Quint & Sons Funeral Home, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, from 3:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 4:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at the Our Mother of Sorrows , 6440 S. High Street, Rev. Fr. Rick Nieberding, Presiding. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High Street.
